Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were inseparable after they first met. Ashley, who was 17 at the time and had never been in a relationship before, took the time to get acquainted. But, it was love at the first sight. Andrew asked God to bless him on New Years Eve just before the year's end, to grant him one more blessing to 2016. He wished for Ashley to accept. Ashley really wanted to do a wooden folk themed wedding, as it represented Andrew and her. They incorporated a small amount of everything they love for the big day. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of the property Ashley has grown up on. Ashley took a tour of the area and enjoyed herself on it all, from the way they walked towards the fields where they exchanged vows. Andrew and Ashley strolled through the exact place when they started together. The importance of personalization was that Andrew and Ashley did the majority of the work themselves. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating areas and the arch used for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decorations. Ashley says that with Anna's stunning floral design, our wedding wouldn't be as beautiful and intimate as I dreamed. It's truly incredible.
